“SKIN ART” Tattoo & Body Piercing Studio has been existing for 15 years. This Studio is a unique and professional   Tattoo and Body Piercing Studio in the Republic of Macedonia and is among the first ones on the Balkan Peninsula   to continue the tradition of tattoo and body piercing for more than 2500 years. The founder of this Studio Mr. Bogdan Spasovski, who has been practicing  tattoo and body piercing as an amateur since 1974 and then as a professional since 1990, has still been working with his two sons who at the same time, were his apprentices. The father and his younger son, Dejan Spasovski, can always be met in the first Tattoo Studio in Kumanovo.

Igor Mehandzijski-Boogie, the elder son of Bogdan, unselfishly supported his father in realizing the “SKIN ART” project. Becoming master of this art in the Kumanovo Studio, he started working in several studios worldwide. Eventually, he had come back and founded the “SKIN ART” Studio in Skopje. Since 1996 the Tattoo Studio, located in the Shopping Centre “Beverly” where Igor has been proving his long-time practice, has itself become one of  the most visited  in Macedonia. In 1999, following the trends and interests of people, Igor changed the location of the Studio. Since 1999 it has been located in the “Partizanski Odredi” Boulevard right in the heart of the “Bunjakovec” Shopping Centre.  The Studio is large, and the interior is suitably equipped and furnished according to the high world standards necessary for one professional Tattoo Studio. Not only the looks is what matters, but also the established criteria in terms of what one Tattoo Studio should look like  complying to medical standards and regulations . Hence, “SKIN ART” Tattoo Studio works according to these standards as they are of vital importance to people's health.

There is no room for amateurism in the “SKIN ART” Tattoo Studio. We are aware of the emergent situation that every day parvenu “Tattoo Masters” spring like mushrooms after the rain, i.e. the number of people who practice this kind of art unprofessionally   and irresponsibly are in constant growth, they buy some tattoo machines and become tattoo masters overnight. The worst thing is that the public has not been informed about this situation yet and people go to places literally to be cut by amateurs. That is why we have created this website. We would like to inform people that “SKIN ART” is a professional Studio and hold a CERTIFICATE in performing this kind of work

Good TATTOO in good Studio comes into existence as a link of all the above mentioned characteristics only. On the other hand, steady hand, good master, accuracy and skillfulness is what matters as well. However, without high quality paints, produced by producers of repute, needles and tattoo machines there is no high quality tattoo.   

Nowadays “SKIN ART” is not only a name of a Studio since the magic trio Bogdan, Igor and Dejan have confirmed the real meaning of the name and have become skin artist of repute which can not be opened to doubt. They say -Each peace of “skin” coming to be tattooed by us is PRIVILEGE.
